George Clooney embarks on a profound journey of self-discovery in the recently released trailer for *Jay Kelly*, an upcoming film directed by Noah Baumbach, which will be available on Netflix.

On Monday, Netflix unveiled the full trailer for its latest awards contender. According to the official logline: *Jay Kelly* follows the famous movie actor Jay Kelly (played by Clooney) as he navigates a path of introspection while reflecting on his both illustrious past and his complex present, aided by his steadfast manager, Ron, portrayed by Adam Sandler. The film is poised as a blend of poignant narratives infused with humor, exploring the interplay between life’s regrets and notable triumphs.

The trailer opens with Kelly expressing a sentiment of discontent: “I don’t want to be here anymore… I want to leave the party.” This hints at a deeper struggle as the narrative unfolds.

In a pivotal moment, Kelly’s daughter announces her plans to move to Paris, prompting him to embark on a journey to follow her, accompanied by Ron and his publicist, played by Laura Dern. “Lately I feel like my life doesn’t really feel real,” Kelly confides to Ron, reflecting on a rekindling of memory. “Suddenly, I’m remembering things. What is that?” to which Ron quips, “Memory?” This exchange reveals Kelly’s internal conflict and the narrative’s exploration of identity.

*Jay Kelly* had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and is set to release in select theaters on November 14, followed by a Netflix debut on December 5. Baumbach not only directs the film but also co-writes the screenplay alongside Emily Mortimer, with producing credits going to David Heyman and Amy Pascal. The ensemble cast includes notable talents such as Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Jim Broadbent, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, Josh Hamilton, Lenny Henry, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddea Graham, Isla Fisher, Louis Partridge, and Charlie Rowe.
