LA MIRADA, CA — August 8, 2026 — Southern California may be in the middle of a heatwave, but the temperature was turned up even higher for toy collectors Saturday as fans descended on La Mirada for Toy Depot’s annual Geekin Out toy convention.
Held inside the thankfully cool ballroom of the Holiday Inn in La Mirada, Geekin Out brought together collectors, vendors, creators, and toy enthusiasts for a day dedicated to the hobby and the culture surrounding it.
From action figures and vintage collectibles to hard-to-find pieces and plenty of opportunities for collectors to hunt for something new for the shelf, Geekin Out once again gave Southern California toy fans a place to come together and celebrate collecting.
