At Toy Fair 2026, Playmates Toys dropped a nostalgia bombshell, revealing a brand-new crossover line that unites Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with G.I. Joe in an epic 1980s-inspired mashup.
The new TMNT x G.I. Joe line features 4.5–5.25” fully articulated action figures blending the DNA of both iconic brands. The initial assortment includes:
Leo as Snake Eyes
Donnie as Dial-Tone
Mikey as Shipwreck
Raph as Roadblock
April O’Neil as Scarlett
Shredder as Cobra Commander
Krang as Destro
Slash as Storm Shadow
Bebop and Rocksteady as Ripper and Buzzer
Each figure comes in retro-inspired window box packaging, paying tribute to the bold graphics and character designs that defined toy aisles in the 1980s. Accessories are tailored to each mashup persona, combining ninja weaponry with classic G.I. Joe-style military gear.
The crossover fun doesn’t stop with figures. Playmates is also delivering vehicle mashups inspired by both franchises:
Turtle-Fly Copter – Equipped with spinning katana helicopter blades, firing missiles, a rappel line, and more.
A.W.E. Shell-Striker – A hybrid assault vehicle featuring functioning missile launchers, room for your Turtle/Joe team, and an exclusive April O’Neil/Scarlett figure variant.
With two powerhouse ’80s properties colliding in one cohesive toy line, this release feels tailor-made for collectors who grew up on Saturday morning cartoons and backyard battles. The TMNT x G.I. Joe crossover assortment is slated to hit shelves in Summer 2026.
