Toy Fair NYC is officially underway, and Mattel is giving retailers and media a closer look at its new kid-focused DC Comics action figure line.
Designed specifically with younger fans in mind, the upcoming DC line includes 6-inch action figures, 12-inch large-scale figures, and vehicles built for hands-on, durable play. The sculpts lean into bold colors and simplified designs, clearly separating this range from the more detailed collector offerings fans have come to expect.
Front and center in the display is Batman, anchoring the lineup as one of DC’s most recognizable heroes. Additional core characters are expected to round out the assortment as more details continue to emerge from the show floor.
The kid-focused DC line is slated to hit retail this fall, while Mattel’s collector-driven DC line is planned for release next year.
