In a statement, Del Mundo reflected on his journey: “I’ve always been a Marvel kid. I still remember the thrill of landing my very first gig with Marvel and then sprinting to the shop that unforgettable Wednesday to see it on the shelves. That moment meant everything to me. Fast forward 15 years, and somehow I’m still here, doing what I love, with a whole body of work about to be collected in a beautiful hardcover. It honestly feels surreal. 12-year-old me would be doing backflips right now!”

Like other volumes in the series, **The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo** features a substantial 224-page, 9″ x 12″ hardcover format. The campaign also offers various extras, such as prints, posters, stickers, a puzzle, signed editions, and original sketches by Del Mundo.

“Del Mundo is an Eisner-nominated and influential figure in the world of comics, and his art is celebrated for its innovation — and rightly so,” stated Clover Press Publisher Hank Kanalz. “Fittingly, we’ve introduced something new for his campaign: for the first time ever, the campaign will also include a separate sketchbook, a 5 x 7.5 softcover that presents Del Mundo’s sketches for the pieces featured in the main book. Readers can follow along and match the sketches to the final artwork, revealing the thought process behind every piece. There’s always something new to discover when I revisit any page.”

The campaign for **The Marvel Art of Mike Del Mundo** is live on Kickstarter now.

Previous publications in the **Marvel Art of** series have highlighted talents such as Alex Maleev, Russell Dauterman, and David Nakayama.
