Would you like to know more? Hiya Toys is heading back to Klendathu with its latest Starship Troopers collectible as the terrifying Warrior Bug joins the EXQUISITE BASIC Series, and pre orders are now underway.
One of the most recognizable creatures from the 1997 sci fi classic Starship Troopers, the Warrior Bug served as a frontline weapon for the Arachnids. Fast, heavily armored, and equipped with massive scythe like limbs and powerful jaws, these Bugs made life extremely short for members of the United Citizen Federation’s Mobile Infantry.
The Bugs Are Back
Hiya Toys’ new Warrior Bug stands approximately 13.5 cm tall and faithfully recreates the creature’s memorable movie appearance.
The figure features its broad armored head, massive jaws, segmented legs, layered back armor, sharp attack limbs, and extensive surface detailing designed to capture the biological armor of the Arachnid soldier.
Multiple articulation points throughout the legs and limbs allow collectors to create aggressive poses and recreate battles between the Bugs and Mobile Infantry.
Hiya Toys has finished the creature with a black and dark brown carapace highlighted by yellow stripes and crimson markings. Layered paint applications add additional depth to the armor and help bring out the sculpted textures across the figure.
Price and Release
The Hiya Toys EXQUISITE BASIC Series Starship Troopers Warrior Bug is priced at $54.99 USD, with a $64.99 USD price including the U.S. tariff.In Japan, the figure is priced at 9,500 JPY before tax.
The Warrior Bug is currently scheduled for release in Q3 2027. As with most early product reveals, Hiya Toys notes that promotional images are for reference and the final production version may vary.
