EXCITING NEW INSIGHTS ON KING SPAWN #50’s 1:1000 VARIANT—FEATURING ORIGINAL ART BY TODD McFARLANE
TEMPE, AZ. 08/28/2025 – As anticipation grows for King Spawn #50 and the introduction of the 50/50/50 Program, Todd McFarlane Productions is excited to reveal additional details regarding one of the most exclusive offerings associated with this milestone anniversary issue: Cover H, the 1:1000 Raw Pencil Virgin Variant.
Each copy of Cover H will include a guaranteed original hand-drawn Spawn sketch, which will be inserted directly into the book. The first 50 orders will be fortunate to receive sketches by Todd McFarlane himself. Subsequent sketches will be randomly assigned from a select group of renowned Spawn Universe artists: Jonathan Glapion, Carlo Barberi, Brett Booth, Stephen Segovia, and Jason Shawn Alexander. It is important to note that the selection of sketch artists is random and cannot be specifically requested; ordering early does not guarantee a McFarlane sketch.
In addition to the sketch, every copy of Cover H will be signed by Todd McFarlane and will feature a CGC Certificate confirming the legitimacy of both the book and the signature for CGC’s Signature Series program. This certificate will also verify the authenticity of the inserted sketch. With McFarlane committing to not sign this cover again, these copies are guaranteed to be limited and highly collectible.

This unique variant is part of the 50/50/50 Program, a significant celebration of the core titles within the Spawn Universe: King Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, and The Scorched. As each series reaches its 50th issue in the upcoming year, all three will feature a cohesive set of premium variant covers and interconnected narrative elements.
King Spawn #50 will be available at comic book shops on October 15, 2025, with the Final Order Cutoff for retailers scheduled for Sunday, September 22.
