During Friday’s BlumFest 2025 panel at New York Comic Con, the studio marked its 15th anniversary with exciting appearances from the teams behind Black Phone 2 and Five Nights at Freddy’s sequels. The event featured exclusive footage and the thrilling announcement of Megan Fox joining the voice cast of FNAF 2.
Producer and Blumhouse studio founder Jason Blum opened the panel, reflecting on his aspirations for the next fifteen years. “One of the things I’m proudest of is discovering and empowering new talent. People who haven’t done horror, or maybe have done a little bit of horror. People like Jordan Peele,” he remarked. “What I’m really looking forward to is meeting and hopefully producing the next generation of horror. Working with young people who have vision and energy is probably the most exciting part of my job, especially as I get older.”
Blum also highlighted several anticipated titles, including Lee Cronin’s upcoming The Mummy, expressing enthusiasm while hinting he couldn’t elaborate much further. He discussed the implications of upcoming projects, including the game Sleep Awake, described as set in a world where individuals struggle to remain awake as those who fall asleep mysteriously disappear.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2
The concluding segment of the panel featured Blum, director Emma Tammi, along with actors Elizabeth Lail and Matthew Lillard. They alluded to the introduction of additional much-anticipated animatronics, such as Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie. Moreover, they teased the inclusion of more human characters, emphasizing that fans could expect deeper lore and petrifying jump scares in the sequel.
During the announcement, Tammi confirmed several voice actors for the sequel, including Kellen Goff (Toy Freddy), MatPat (Toy Bonnie), and notably, Megan Fox as Toy Chica. “Her kids are huge Five Nights at Freddy’s fans, so she’s been immersed in this world for a long time. She was tremendously excited to voice Toy Chica, aiming to pay homage to the games while infusing her interpretation,” Tammi commented.

Hawke described the exhilarating moment he first heard Scott’s pitch for a sequel, which has left fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter. Thames shared the immense thrill of returning to beloved characters and expanding the story, while McGraw noted how her character, Gwen, has evolved through her struggles since the previous film.
