Warner Bros. Animation has released the first trailer for Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest, the next chapter in its animated adaptation of one of DC’s most consequential Batman storylines.
The film picks up after the brutal events of Part 1, which saw Bane break Bruce Wayne’s back, leaving Gotham’s protector unable to continue as Batman. With Bruce paralyzed from the waist down, Jean-Paul Valley — better known as Azrael — steps into the role.
However, Valley’s interpretation of Batman quickly raises alarms. As he wages his own war on Gotham’s criminals, his increasingly aggressive tactics threaten to push the Dark Knight’s mission into far more perilous territory.
