Hasbro is celebrating 40 years of the 1986 animated classic with a new wave of Transformers Studio Series figures inspired by The Transformers: The Movie — and they’re built for serious shelves.

Going up for pre-order today at 1:00pm ET on Hasbro Pulse, this anniversary wave delivers seven screen-inspired additions designed to help fans complete their definitive 1986 display. Each figure is sold separately.
Leading the charge, Sunstreaker rolls in with gleaming sports car flair, while Skywarp descends from the skies ready to unleash Decepticon destruction. Dinobot fans get Snarl, sword in hand and battle-ready. The ever-calculating Shockwave brings cold logic to the battlefield, and Astrotrain once again shifts between robot, train, and space shuttle modes in seamless triple-changer fashion.
Rounding out the wave, Wheeljack stands valiantly in the face of chaos, while Kranix represents one of the film’s most unforgettable and tragic moments at the hands of the Quintessons.
Each release features movie-inspired deco, screen-accurate sculpting, premium articulation, and the refined transformation engineering collectors expect from Studio Series. These aren’t just figures — they’re pivotal scenes from 1986, rebuilt in plastic.
