One of the most memorable bounty hunters in the Star Wars galaxy is officially joining Medicom Toy’s MAFEX lineup. MAFEX No. 326 Bossk from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back dropped for pre-order today, August 24, 2026.
The Trandoshan bounty hunter stands approximately 160mm, or 6.3 inches tall, bringing Bossk into the highly articulated MAFEX format. Medicom has based the figure on Bossk’s appearance in The Empire Strikes Back, where he was among the group of bounty hunters assembled by Darth Vader to track down Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon.
What Comes With MAFEX Bossk?
Bossk includes two interchangeable head parts, interchangeable hands, two blaster weapons and an articulated MAFEX display stand. The figure features the detailed sculpting and articulation collectors have come to expect from Medicom’s premium MAFEX releases.
The figure was sculpted by Tetsuya Tsukada (namoji) and PERFECT STUDIO, with Medicom listing a Japanese suggested retail price of ¥17,380 including tax.
For collectors in the United States, BigBadToyStore currently has Bossk listed for $124.99, including its tariff surcharge, with a $12.50 nonrefundable down payment required. BBTS currently estimates an August 2027 arrival.
Collectors looking to import directly from Japan can also find Bossk through retailers such as HobbyLink Japan, which currently lists the figure for a June 2027 release. Medicom’s Japanese release information also points toward June 2027, so domestic arrival dates may vary depending on the retailer.
The MAFEX Bounty Hunter Collection Keeps Growing
Bossk is a welcome addition for Star Wars collectors looking to expand the bounty hunter side of their MAFEX shelves. With Boba Fett and 4-LOM already represented in the line, Bossk moves Medicom another step closer to assembling the infamous bounty hunters seen aboard Darth Vader’s Star Destroyer in The Empire Strikes Back.
Now the question becomes which hunter comes next. Dengar? IG-88? Zuckuss?
