Marvel Legends collectors may want to prepare for another potential price increase.
Reports are circulating that Hasbro could raise the standard price of select Marvel Legends figures from $27.99 to $29.99, possibly beginning with the Marvel Legends Series Mini Comics Wave 3 pre-orders scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 at 1:00 PM ET.
At this time, the $29.99 price for Wave 3 has not been officially confirmed by Hasbro, so collectors should treat this as a developing story rather than a confirmed MSRP change.
There is, however, some evidence that makes the possibility worth watching. Hasbro Pulse currently lists many Marvel Legends figures, including Aunt May from Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Cyclops from Avengers: Doomsday, at $27.99. Meanwhile, other recent releases, including the Spider-Man 3 Spider-Man, have already reached $29.99.
The Mini Comics assortment has also seen its price climb previously. When the first Mini Comics wave was announced in early 2025, its suggested retail price was $24.99 per figure. A move to $29.99 would therefore represent a $5 increase—or roughly 20%—in less than two years.
Wave 3 includes Marvel’s Hawkeye, Spider-Man (Doom Suit), Captain America (Earth X), and Marvel’s Elsa Bloodstone, each packaged with a plastic miniature comic-book accessory.
For now, collectors should keep an eye on retailer listings when pre-orders open Tuesday. If these figures appear at $29.99 across multiple major retailers, that would provide much stronger evidence that Hasbro has implemented another Marvel Legends pricing adjustment rather than an individual retailer markup.
Plastiq News will continue following the listings as they go live and update this story once official pricing is available.
