October 11, 2026 — Hasbro brought the Marvel Legends team to New York Comic Con with a new wave of Avengers: Doomsday figures, the second wave of X-Men ’97 Season 2 figures, several new two-packs, and a few early teases for what is still ahead.
Here is everything announced during the NYCC Marvel Legends panel, including preorder dates and release windows.
Avengers: Doomsday Wave 2
The second Avengers: Doomsday wave goes up for preorder Wednesday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m. PT through Hasbro Pulse and Amazon. The figures are scheduled to ship in spring 2027.
Lord Doom (Concept Series)
Lord Doom is based on the movie’s concept art rather than Robert Downey Jr.’s appearance. The figure includes extra hands along with both an open spell book and a closed spell book.
Nightcrawler
The Nightcrawler figure is based on Alan Cumming’s version of the character and comes with extra hands, two swords, and a tail.
Beast
Beast, based on Kelsey Grammer’s appearance, includes an alternate head, glasses, extra hands, and a data pad.
X-Men ’97 Season 2
The next wave of X-Men ’97 figures will be available for preorder Wednesday, October 21, at 10:00 a.m. PT through Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, Entertainment Earth, and other participating retailers. The wave is scheduled to ship in fall 2026.
- Death Gambit comes with two kinetic-card effects.
- Cyclops wears the New X-Men bomb jacket and includes an alternate head and alternate hands.
- Jean Grey wears the New X-Men jacket and includes two psionic effects.
- Havok comes with two plasma blast effects.
- Polaris includes extra hands. The presentation image shows green effects, but it is unclear whether those effects are included with the figure.
- Vindicator, showing Morph’s Season 2 form, comes with an alternate head and alternate hands.
Other Marvel Legends Announcements
Astonishing X-Men Cyclops & Wolverine 2-Pack
This two-pack is a reissue that recreates the cover of Astonishing X-Men #7. Preorders open Wednesday, October 28, at 10:00 a.m. PT, with the set scheduled to ship in fall 2026.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man vs. Rhino
The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man vs. Rhino two-pack will be available exclusively through Hasbro Pulse, with orders opening Sunday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. PT. The set includes an unmasked Spider-Man head, glasses, and a web splat effect that can be used with both figures.
Comic Venom and Production Updates
Hasbro also teased a comic-inspired Venom for 2027, reportedly based on Luciano Vecchio’s design. The team addressed the updated Thor head as well, explaining that it was swapped partway through production as a correction—not a chase variant.
Two Unnamed Teases
The presentation closed with two unnamed pieces: a yellow winged headpiece and a cream-colored sculpted piece that appears to be either a tail or a piece of hair. Hasbro did not identify the characters connected to either tease.
