Tomb Raider enthusiasts have unexpected news—one that heralds a significant revival for the legendary franchise.
According to a recent press release from Dark Horse Comics, the iconic adventurer Lara Croft will return in a brand new comic book limited series titled Tomb Raider: Sacred Artifacts. This four-issue series will be penned by Casey Gilly, with artwork by Antonio Di Caprio, colors by Eren Angiolini, and letters by AndWorld Design. The cover art for the first issue will be illustrated by fan-favorite artist Taurin Clark, as showcased below.

The most recent major release was Netflix’s animated series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, which is poised to enter its second and final season.
As the animated series nears its conclusion, Prime Video is gearing up for the live-action adaptation of Tomb Raider. This new series will feature Game of Thrones and X-Men: Apocalypse star Sophie Turner portraying Lara Croft, while Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge takes on multiple roles as writer, director, and executive producer. Additionally, Waller-Bridge will co-showrun the series alongside fellow executive producer Chad Hodge.
