DSTLRY Unveils ‘Endeavour’: A New Adventure on the High Seas

Endeavour Preview Image

Endeavour is penned by Stephanie Phillips, known for her work on Phoenix, with illustrations by Marc Laming, renowned for his contributions to the Star Wars universe. The series is supported by colorist Lee Loughridge and letterer Tom Napolitano. The first issue will feature cover art from Laming, Matteo Scalera, Matias Bergara, and Joshua Hixson.

DSTLRY’s official summary of Endeavour reads:

From 1768 to 1771, the HMS Endeavour, commanded by the famed Lieutenant James Cook, embarked on a transformative voyage across Tahiti, New Zealand, and Australia. The outcome, however, was far from favorable.

In contemporary times, a tourism venture presents a unique opportunity to experience history aboard a meticulously replicated version of the ship, aptly named Endeavour. For a substantial price, elite travelers can indulge in a historical journey with all the modern amenities—until calamity strikes and seven children find themselves marooned aboard the vessel, left to navigate not only the seas but also the complexities of survival amidst their peers.

The harsh seas and scarcity of provisions soon pale in comparison to the realization that their greatest challenge lies in managing their relationships with one another.

Each issue of Endeavour will be presented in DSTLRY’s premium Prestige format, featuring stunning wraparound covers with spot gloss on durable cover stock, accompanied by 48 pages of high-quality interior paper—an embodiment of the DSTLRY commitment to excellence.

Endeavour #1 is scheduled for release on October 8, 2025, with the final order cutoff set for August 18.
