BigBadToyStore is officially kicking off its new BigBad Launch Pad, and the first wave of BigBadWorkShop NPC (Non-Playable Characters) is helping lead the charge.
Designed specifically to fill out the worlds surrounding our favorite heroes and villains, NPC is a new line of fully articulated 1/12 scale action figures built for collectors, diorama builders, and toy photographers. Instead of another wave of superheroes and main characters, BigBadWorkShop is focusing on the people who make those worlds feel alive.
Wave 1 features the Mob Boss, SCHS Cheerleader Team Captain, News Anchor (Prime Time), and SWAT Commander, each priced at a special $36.99 Founder Price during the Launch Window. A SWAT Accessory Kit Ver. 01 is also available for $21.99. The project features additional figures, accessories, and bonus items that can be unlocked as funding increases.The campaign has already passed its initial funding goal, meaning production is moving forward. BigBadWorkShop also has bigger plans for NPC, with future concepts including Bank Robbers, Gangsters, FBI Agents, Detectives, a Stay-at-Home Mom, and even an Exorcist Priest.
More importantly, NPC Wave 1 represents the beginning of BigBad Launch Pad, giving collectors a new way to support upcoming projects while unlocking additional products and bonuses as campaigns hit their goals. Pre-orders opened August 18 and the initial Launch Window runs for 30 days. Founder pricing is locked in for collectors who order during that period.
