AMC Global Media is set to bring a thrilling array of panels to New York Comic Con, running from October 8-11. This year’s lineup boasts engaging features from fan-favorite series like The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, as well as several fresh productions.
Highlights of the Lineup
Attendees can expect cast and creative-team appearances, sneak peeks of upcoming episodes, and first looks at new seasons. Among the new series debuting at the convention are Kill Jackie and YAGA—both set to premiere on AMC+ in October.
Panel Schedule
The programming kicks off on Friday, October 9, with a Kill Jackie panel from 3:30 to 4:00 PM ET on the Main Stage. Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones will join showrunner and writer Tom Butterworth, along with executive producer Peter Lawson, to discuss this revenge thriller and provide previews of upcoming episodes.
Kill Jackie premieres on October 2 and stars Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price, a former international drug smuggler thrust back into danger as elite hitmen are hired to eliminate her.
Spotlight on YAGA
Following Kill Jackie, the YAGA panel will take place from 4:00 to 4:30 PM on the Main Stage. Cast members Carrie-Anne Moss, Noah Reid, and Clark Backo will join showrunner Kat Sandler and executive producer Mackenzie Donaldson to preview this contemporary mystery thriller. Set to premiere on October 23, YAGA reimagines the Slavic folk tale of Baba Yaga, centering on a private investigator (played by Reid) as he unravels the mystery of a young heir’s disappearance.
Returning Favorites
At 4:30 PM, AMC will host a much-anticipated panel for Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. Stars Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, Betsy Brandt, and Eliza Scanlen will join showrunner Esta Spalding and executive producer Mark Johnson to discuss the upcoming third season, which is set to premiere in 2027.
This new season continues the story of Rowan Mayfair (Daddario) as she navigates threats to the witches amidst ancient magic and evolving bloodlines.
Closing Out Friday
The day’s programming will conclude with the The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon panel from 5:15 to 6:00 PM. Executive producer and star Melissa McBride, along with showrunner David Zabel and executive producer Scott M. Gimple, will delve into the fourth and final season of the series, showcasing previously unreleased footage. The final season follows Daryl (played by Norman Reedus) and Carol (McBride) as they embark on a journey through Spain, facing uncertainty about their future.
Additional Panels on Saturday
AMC’s events continue on Saturday, October 10, featuring The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: 10 Years of Terror from 2:00 to 2:45 PM in Room 408. The Boulet Brothers will reflect on the series’ first decade while offering an exclusive preview of the upcoming seventh season.
The day wraps up with Shudder Is Here to Scare the S— Out of You! Celebrating the Season of Screams from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in Room 405. Panelists include Ry Barrett from In a Violent Nature, David Dastmalchian from Late Night With The Devil, Ernest Dickerson from V/H/S/MIXTAPE, and Deborah Ann Woll from The Cycle. They’ll discuss the current landscape of horror, their biggest fears, and provide insights into the future of the genre, alongside previews of upcoming Shudder programming.
