Grand Theft Auto VI Officially Lands on Xbox and PlayStation Stores Ahead of Pre-Orders
Rockstar Games has officially opened the digital storefront pages for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving players on both Xbox and PlayStation the chance to wishlist the game before pre-orders officially begin.
With launch day set for November 19, 2026, the appearance of both store pages marks another major milestone in the lead-up to what is expected to become one of the biggest video game launches of all time.

Return to Vice City
The official description teases the beginning of Rockstar’s next open-world crime epic:
“Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida—forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
Players will once again explore the iconic streets of Vice City, but this time the adventure stretches across the massive state of Leonida, Rockstar’s fictional take on Florida. The game promises Rockstar’s largest and most detailed open world to date.
Pre-Orders Open June 25
Rockstar has confirmed that digital pre-orders officially begin June 25, 2026.
Fans will be able to purchase the game directly through the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and participating retailers once pre-orders go live.
Pricing Confirmed
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed two editions of the game:
- Standard Edition: $79.99 USD
- Ultimate Edition: $99.99 USD
Players who pre-order before launch will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, while digital purchases also include one month of GTA+.
One of Gaming’s Biggest Launches Ever
It’s been more than a decade since Grand Theft Auto V launched in 2013. Since then, the title has sold more than 230 million copies, making GTA VI arguably the most anticipated video game release of the decade.
Industry analysts expect Rockstar’s latest entry to generate billions of dollars in sales within its first year, continuing one of the most successful franchises in entertainment history.
With the storefronts now live and pre-orders just around the corner, Rockstar’s marketing campaign is officially entering its final stretch.
