Skybound Entertainment is celebrating the third anniversary of the Energon Universe with a special set of connecting variant covers arriving in June 2026. The commemorative covers are illustrated by Tom Reilly with colors by Adriano Lucas and feature over 80 characters spanning the universe’s major titles.
The Energon Universe launched in 2023 with Void Rivals from Robert Kirkman and has since expanded to include Transformers, G.I. Joe, and the upcoming M.A.S.K..
Each Energon Universe comic released in June 2026 will include two open-to-order anniversary variants: a full-color connecting cover and a black-and-white version of the artwork.
The covers will appear on the following issues
• M.A.S.K. #1 – June 3, 2026
• Transformers #33 – June 10, 2026
• G.I. Joe #23 – June 17, 2026
• Void Rivals #31 – June 24, 2026
The massive connecting illustration brings together fan-favorite characters from across the Energon Universe, making it a must-have set for collectors.
