According to The Direct, Marvel Studios has announced the upcoming six series that will be available on Disney+ as part of the MCU’s Phase 6. Following the premiere of Eyes of Wakanda on August 1, fans can anticipate the launches of Marvel Zombies and Wonder Man before the year concludes. Looking ahead to 2026, subscribers can expect a new season of Daredevil: Born Again, along with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, X-Men ’97, and the highly anticipated follow-up to WandaVision, titled Vision Quest.

Currently, Marvel Zombies is set to debut on Disney+ on September 24, while Wonder Man is slated for a December release. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is confirmed for March 2026, making it the only upcoming MCU series with a specific release window for the next year. However, excitement continues to build around each of these projects, bolstered by recent casting announcements that fuel speculation about the future of beloved characters.

Recent reports indicate that Vision Quest will feature the return of two classic MCU villains who have been absent from the franchise for some time. Notably, both James Spader and Faran Tahir are set to reprise their roles as Ultron and Raza, respectively. Ultron, famously the antagonist in Avengers: Age of Ultron, appeared to have exited the MCU entirely in that same film. Conversely, Tahir’s Raza made his first appearance in 2008’s Iron Man, where he captured Tony Stark but met a grim fate due to his failure to execute his mission.

Moreover, Wonder Man marks a significant addition to the MCU’s slate, also bringing back another notable villain. The series will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, also known as Wonder Man, a superhuman who often leverages his powers in Hollywood as an actor and stuntman rather than purely for heroics. Joining Abdul-Mateen II are Ed Harris as Simon’s agent, Neal Saroyan, Arian Moayed as Damage Control agent P. Cleary, and Demetrius Grosse as Simon’s antagonist brother, Eric Williams, aka the Grim Reaper. Fans were treated to an initial promotional clip in July, which hinted at the dynamic between Williams and Trevor Slattery, portrayed by Ben Kingsley.

Wonder Man is scheduled for release in December 2025.
