The children’s graphic novel market continues to thrive, with significant sales figures indicating both collector interest and potential for retailers in 2025.
A total of 24 kids graphic novels were reported to have sold over 100,000 copies in North American bookstores during 2025. Notably, the majority of these titles were published by Scholastic Graphix, demonstrating the dominance of established publishers in this segment. A remarkable 15 out of the 24 titles belong to the popular Dog Man and Cat Kid series, created by acclaimed author and illustrator Dav Pilkey.
The standout titles not linked to a franchise include The New Girl by Cassandra Calin, which achieved over 120,000 sales, and The Cartoonists Club by Raina Telgemeier and Scott McCloud, coming in at 106,000 copies sold.
