Demons, beware. The X-ORCISTS are coming.
Marvel Comics is taking mutantkind into the darker corners of the supernatural this November with X-ORCISTS, a new five issue limited series that brings together X-Men, demons, sorcery, and the dangerous legacy of Limbo.
The series reunites writer Ashley Allen and artist Germán Peralta, the creative team behind Magik in 2025 and Magik & Colossus in 2026. This time, the pair continues Illyana Rasputin’s story on a much larger scale as a demonic threat emerges that could have consequences throughout the Marvel Universe.
Something Has Escaped Limbo
When a demon escapes Limbo and begins attacking humans and mutants alike, Magik joins forces with fellow X-Man Juggernaut and the current Queen of Limbo, Madelyne Pryor, to stop its rampage.
There’s just one problem. This isn’t an ordinary demon.
The threat proves powerful enough that the unlikely trio will need additional mystical heroes to join the fight, forming a supernatural strike team worthy of the name X-ORCISTS.
Things become even more dangerous with the return of a major X-Men super villain whose plans threaten to unravel the connection between mutantkind and magic.
For Magik, the battle also brings her back into direct conflict with the realm she once ruled. Illyana’s history with Limbo has long made her one of the X-Men’s most fascinating supernatural characters, and X-ORCISTS looks ready to push that relationship into its next chapter.
With mutant stories increasingly crossing into Marvel’s mystical side, X-ORCISTS #1 arrives this November, kicking off the five issue limited series.
