Hasbro closed out Yo Joe June 2026 with the final G.I. Joe Classified Series reveals of the year, showcasing Iceberg, a rugged new Duke, Toxo-Viper, Mistress Armada, and the all-new Cobra character Synapse.
While the final week delivered several solid additions to the line, many collectors are likely walking away from this year’s Yo Joe June with mixed feelings. The reveals themselves weren’t bad. In fact, several were quite good. The issue is that the event never seemed to build momentum the way previous years have.
For a month-long celebration of one of Hasbro’s hottest collector brands, Yo Joe June 2026 often felt restrained, with fewer major surprises, fewer must-have announcements, and noticeably less excitement surrounding each weekly livestream. If you missed any of the earlier action, check out our Week 1 recap and Week 3 recap to catch up on what led to this finale.
Iceberg Finally Arrives

After being name-revealed nearly a year ago, Iceberg finally made his Classified Series debut.
The Arctic specialist stays close to his classic design while adding modern Classified styling, complete with goggles, sniper rifle, pistol, knife, and an unexpected snowboard accessory. Hasbro noted that the release is designed to complement the growing Arctic sub-theme that includes the Snowcat, Arctic H.I.S.S. Tank, and other cold-weather figures.
Iceberg looks exactly like what longtime fans expected, which is both his strength and weakness. He’s a solid addition, but not necessarily a headline-grabbing reveal.

Duke Gets a Rugged Upgrade

One of the more interesting reveals was a new “rugged” Duke.
Featuring a beard, enhanced facial scar, tactical gear, desert boots, and updated military styling, this version feels like a veteran field commander who has spent years in combat rather than the cleaner look traditionally associated with the character.
Hasbro acknowledged that the design traces back to some of the earliest concepts for the Classified line before the team settled on its more sci-fi inspired direction.
For collectors, this may end up being one of the sleeper hits of the wave.

Toxo-Viper Brings the Weirdness

The troop builder slot belongs to Toxo-Viper, and it might be the most visually interesting figure of the entire wave.
Loaded with hoses, blast effects, removable toxic gas accessories, and a removable helmet revealing the unfortunate effects of repeated Cobra workplace safety violations, the figure captures everything fans remember about the original design while modernizing it for Classified.
Hasbro also confirmed that retailers will receive two Toxo-Vipers per case, making army building easier than some previous troop builders.

Mistress Armada Joins the Iron Grenadiers

One of the bigger surprises of the stream was the reveal of Mistress Armada.
Rather than recreating her comic appearance exactly, Hasbro redesigned the character to fit more naturally within the Iron Grenadier faction. It’s a similar approach to how Hasbro handled the Iron Grenadier Destro reveal earlier in the Classified run.
The figure features new armor, multiple skull motifs, alternate hairstyles, swashbuckling boots, and a unique helmet designed to look like a stolen piece of artwork modified into battle gear.
While some fans may debate the color changes, it’s encouraging to see Hasbro continue expanding the roster of named female characters in the line.

Synapse Brings Something New to Cobra
The biggest reveal of Week 4 was undoubtedly Synapse.
Unlike most Classified figures, Synapse is an entirely new character created specifically for the line.
Described as a “technomancer,” Synapse uses advanced technology to control fallen soldiers on the battlefield. The figure features a mechanical third arm, a cybernetic control system, multiple new tooling pieces, and one of the most unique silhouettes the line has seen in years.
Whether collectors embrace him remains to be seen, but Hasbro deserves credit for trying something different.
For a line that often relies heavily on nostalgia, Synapse stands out as a genuinely fresh concept.

Retro Collection Updates

Hasbro also revealed renders for the final Retro Collection wave of 2026.
The wave includes:
- Falcon
- Cobra Valkyrie
- Flash
With Flash finally confirmed, Hasbro has officially completed the Original 13 lineup in Classified Retro form, something collectors have been requesting for years.

Tomb Raider Crossover Revealed

Perhaps the most unexpected announcement was the confirmation of a Tomb Raider collaboration.
The first render of Lara Croft was shown wearing her classic teal tank top, brown shorts, dual pistols, and signature accessories.
Hasbro confirmed the figure will receive a full reveal during San Diego Comic-Con and is expected to launch later this fall. Hasbro has been busy building toward SDCC — they already teased the Springfield Classified SDCC exclusive and the Fatal Fluffies SDCC set earlier this year.
For many collectors, this crossover may have generated more excitement than several of the actual G.I. Joe reveals throughout the month.

Final Thoughts
The biggest challenge facing Yo Joe June 2026 wasn’t the quality of the reveals.
It was the lack of major moments.
Compared to previous years, this event felt smaller in scope and lighter on surprises. Several reveals had already been name-dropped months earlier, many announcements focused on figures collectors largely expected, and there were very few “holy crap” moments that dominated social media discussions.

There were certainly bright spots. Synapse was bold. The Tomb Raider crossover was unexpected. Toxo-Viper looks fantastic. Completing the Original 13 is a milestone worth celebrating.
But when the dust settled, Yo Joe June 2026 felt more like a maintenance year than a showcase year.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Hasbro clearly has significant plans for 2027. But for many collectors, this year’s event will likely be remembered less for what was revealed and more for what never arrived. It’s also worth noting this comes amid broader changes at Hasbro — the departure of Tony Colella from the Classified team has left many wondering what the line’s creative direction looks like going forward.
