Hasbro Pulse dropped a packed Star Wars Fanstream focused heavily on The Mandalorian & Grogu, revealing multiple additions across both The Vintage Collection and Black Series lines. The stream mixed new tooling reveals, upgraded articulation systems, troop-builder variants, and collector-focused packaging announcements ahead of SDCC season. Tiny plastic space wizards continue their assault on adult bank accounts.

The Vintage Collection Reveals

Deven Aara Debuts in TVC

The stream opened with the reveal of Deven Aara, making her Vintage Collection debut after previously being shown only as a digital render at CCXP.

Highlights:

All-new sculpt
Removable shawl/headpiece
Detachable lightsaber hilt
Force-push hand accessory
Newly engineered wrist system using rotating cuffs for better proportions

The Hasbro team explained the smaller wrist articulation was intentional to preserve the character’s petite proportions instead of using oversized joints that would “blow out” the wrists visually.

They also discussed Deven’s storyline:

Training under Dooku
Surviving Order 66
Living on the run
Eventually aligning with Maul

The team repeatedly emphasized this is a completely new character debut for TVC collectors.

Season One Hera Syndulla Revealed

Hasbro officially revealed Season One Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels.

Built partially from prior Ghost HasLab tooling, the figure includes several new components to better match her earlier animated appearance.

Updated features:

New torso
New arms
Updated vest detailing
New shoulder pad and pouch sculpting

The stream confirmed collectors are steadily getting closer to completing the Season One Ghost Crew lineup:

Sandtrooper Returns on Vintage Cardback

The classic Sandtrooper returns to TVC as an individual carded release after previously appearing in a troop multipack.

Included accessories:

Shoulder-mounted blaster

The hosts specifically encouraged troop building for HasLab Cantina displays and highlighted the updated cardback artwork.

One of the presenters also admitted his favorite Sandtrooper cardbacks are the ones “where they’re looking at you.” This is the level of hyper-specific collector energy that powers the galaxy.

Embo Gets an All-New TVC Figure

One of the biggest reveals was Embo, inspired by his appearance in The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Collector brain chemistry is fascinating. We have evolved into a species that reviews hat friction tolerances.

Mercenary Guard Droid Revealed

Hasbro also unveiled the Mercenary Guard Droid, a heavily modified Super Battle Droid design from The Mandalorian & Grogu.

All-new tooling
Heavy weathering throughout
Large blade weapon
Swappable blast effect pieces
Interchangeable firing gauntlets

The design team explained they intentionally leaned hard into weathering and texture work so the droid would feel visually distinct from standard Separatist battle droids.

The figure combines:

Battle damage
Remnant-era scavenged aesthetics
Modern articulation engineering

It looks like a battle droid that survived three wars and definitely smells like overheated wiring.

Deluxe TVC Zeb Revealed

The stream closed the TVC section with deluxe Zeb Orrelios from The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Large deluxe-scale body
Two weapon configurations
Staff/blaster conversion weapon
Live-action fur sculpting
Highly detailed facial expression work

The team emphasized how much effort went into translating Zeb from animation into live-action while preserving his iconic silhouette and personality.

The hosts specifically praised how well the sculpt captures Zeb’s live-action look from the movie.

Black Series Reveals

After wrapping TVC, the stream shifted into Black Series reveals focused heavily on The Mandalorian & Grogu.

IG-11 (Marshal of Nevarro)

The first Black Series reveal was IG-11 in his Marshal of Nevarro appearance.

New belt and torso details

Redesigned feet for improved posing

The design team admitted they weren’t fully satisfied with the articulation on earlier IG releases and used this version to improve dynamic posing stability.
