Hasbro has been making headlines this week with a slew of exciting action figure announcements. Following our exclusive first look at the Marvel Legends Maximum Series Deadpool figure, we now bring you exclusive insights and images of the Marvel and Star Wars figures unveiled at Fan Expo Canada 2025.
Join us as we explore the latest offerings, including new additions to the Marvel Legends series featuring Mysterio and Strong Guy, along with a pair of Star Wars: The Black Series figures that pay homage to the iconic Anakin/Obi-Wan duel on Mustafar.
Hasbro’s latest addition to the Spider-Man Retro line features Mysterio, inspired by his appearance in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. This figure includes an unmasked head sculpt, alternate hands, and special effects pieces, all contained within packaging reminiscent of the classic ’90s Toy Biz line.
Exclusively available at Walmart, the Mysterio figure is priced at $24.99 USD/$35.99 CAD and is scheduled for release in Fall 2025, with preorders starting on Walmart’s site on October 9 at 7 AM PT.
Collectors will be pleased to hear that Strong Guy is making his return, clad in his classic X-Factor costume. This much-anticipated figure features an alternate head and hands, along with an assortment of barbell accessories, and is sure to complete many ’90s X-Men team lineups.
Due to his larger size, Strong Guy is priced at $39.99 USD/$55.99 CAD and is also slated for a Fall 2025 release. Preorders will commence on the Hasbro Pulse site and at other retailers on August 26 at 10 AM PT.
For those who missed out on Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Anakin Skywalker vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi set, there’s good news. Both characters will be offered as individual releases within the Black Series line, each modeled after their appearances in Revenge of the Sith. The only aspect not included with these releases is the lava duel display base.
Anakin and Obi-Wan will each retail for $24.99 USD/$35.99 CAD and are expected to release in Fall 2025, with preorders available on Hasbro Pulse and other sites on August 26 at 10 AM PT.
Among the other announcements, Hasbro has introduced a new offering to their Star Wars: The Black Series Electronic Helmet line: the Shoretrooper helmet. Modeled after its appearance in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, this collectible features button-activated sound effects (batteries not included).
The Shoretrooper helmet is set to retail at $109.99 USD/$139.99 CAD and is expected to launch in Fall 2025, with preorders available on Hasbro Pulse and other websites on August 26 at 10 AM PT.
