Fans of the iconic James Bond series can anticipate a significant addition to the collectibles market with the announcement of a new comic strip collection that promises to delve into the origins of the beloved spy’s adventures.

James Bond will make an exciting return later this year, providing enthusiasts and collectors alike a chance to explore the foundational stories that have shaped the 007 cinematic universe.
Titan Comics has officially announced that Ian Fleming’s James Bond Signature Comic Strip Collection is set for release on September 8, 2026. This collection will feature the first seven full-length newspaper comic strip adventures of James Bond, which played a crucial role in influencing and launching the film franchise cherished by fans. Furthermore, the publication will include an extensive gallery of original artwork by John McLusky, carefully curated by his family.
The new James Bond collection is now available for pre-order through Titan Comics or directly via Ian Fleming’s official website. This special hardcover edition consists of 296 pages and carries a suggested retail price of $49.99.
Images shared on Fleming’s shop and through Titan Comics’ social media platforms offer avid collectors their first glimpse at the high-quality reprints. This comprehensive collection encompasses some of Fleming’s earliest Bond adventures and stands out as a must-have item for any James Bond aficionado. Described by Titan as a mix of “incredible gadgets, thrilling car chases, beautiful women, hard-hitting action, and the occasional vodka martini, shaken not stirred,” it promises to capture the essence of the franchise.
Collectors will enjoy access to the initial three years of Bond’s newspaper strips, which originally ran from July 1958 to May 1961. These stories include adaptations of classic Bond narratives, such as Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Moonraker, Diamonds are Forever, From Russia with Love, Dr. No, and Goldfinger. Notably, both the Titan Comics website and Amazon’s pre-order page list this as ‘Vol. 1’, suggesting the potential for further Bond stories should this release resonate well with fans.

While the resurgence of these classic comic adventures offers a nostalgic look at Bond’s legacy, the collector’s market will also benefit from the continued offerings of fresh and modern interpretations of the character. In recent years, Dynamite Entertainment has partnered with Ian Fleming Publications since November 2015, yielding over 100 new James Bond comic issues, providing modern takes that capture the essence of the character while appealing to a new generation.
As collectors anticipate the new collection, one mystery remains regarding the iconic character’s future on the big screen: the identity of the next actor to portray Bond. Following Amazon’s acquisition of MGM Studios in 2025, fans have been left in suspense as news of an impending casting announcement is awaited, highlighting the evolving legacy of this storied franchise.
