IDW Publishing is gearing up for an exciting fall with substantial plans for the **Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles** franchise. In addition to introducing a new creative team to the flagship TMNT series, they are set to launch a multiverse crossover comic titled **TMNT: Battle Nexus**. Fans received an exclusive sneak peek of *Battle Nexus #1* during New York Comic Con (NYCC) today.

*TMNT: Battle Nexus* is a limited five-issue series, with each chapter entrusted to a different creative team while telling a cohesive narrative. The impressive roster of writers includes Tom Waltz, Paul Allor, Sophie Campbell, Caleb Goellner, and Erik Burnham, while the artistic contributions come from the Escorza brothers, Ben Bishop, Vitor Cafaggi, Omar Francia, and Hendry Prasetya.
“There are many moments and events in TMNT lore that I call ‘touchstones’—key occurrences such as the family’s visit to their old farm in Northampton to regroup and rejuvenate,” Waltz remarked. “Competing in the Battle Nexus represents another one of those pivotal moments, and together with my talented collaborators, and the exceptional editorial team at IDW and Paramount, we’ve crafted a fresh twist on the Battle Nexus that will astonish both longtime and new fans alike.
